The Ministry of Health and Population announced the launch of 3 medical convoys today, Friday and tomorrow to remote areas deprived of health services as part of the “Decent Life Initiative”.
The Ministry of Health and Population said in a “preliminary infograph” on its official page on the social networking site “Facebook”, that the medical convoys would be in the governorates (Kalyabiya, Giza and Western).
Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, confirmed that the convoys, launched as part of the “Decent Life Initiative”, are directed to the border governorates and villages most in need, with a commitment to take all precautionary measures. Is. measures to prevent the corona virus, as these convoys fall within the scope of the plan to participate. The head of the Central Department of Therapeutic Medicine, Dr. Mohammad Hossein, said that there are free medical facilities for examination and treatment: Obstetrics and Gynecology – Family Planning Services – Children – Internal Medicine – Nose and Ear – Bones – Surgery – Ophthalmology and Dental – Cardiovascular – Dermatology – Radiology and Analysis Services. In addition to a pharmacy in which all medicines are available, and cases requiring surgical operations are transferred to hospitals affiliated with the ministry.
On his part, Dr. Ibrahim Ismail, Director General of the Ministry’s Medical Convoy Department, indicated that the purpose of these convoys is to reduce difficulties and facilitate the elderly, children and people with special needs in receiving medical services, thereby increasing the medical The eagerness of the Ministry to continue the event was emphasized. Convoys in all governorates of the republic taking into account compliance with all precautionary and preventive measures for the corona virus when providing medical services to citizens.
The Ministry of Health continues its preparedness in all governorates of the republic, directly follows the situation regarding the “emerging corona” virus, and takes all necessary preventive measures against any virus or infectious diseases.
